During 4th of July weekend we checked this out. It's waaayyy more charming and fun that I suspected. Yes, they bend history quite a bit but it's a worthy watch. It's no Hamilton, but you can see where they got some of it's inspiration from 1776.

It's one of my favorites. The musical numbers are irresistible. The ending scene send shivers up and down my spine. Every time. I can't get enough of it.
