After surviving the blood shed, he was committed and seem to have his whole personality taken over by the mad man. It would explain how he couldn't remember who he was, where he knew where his body was and let out of the cage

i just can't ny the whole possession thing. i mean it was slipped in at the very end and the movie has no ghost theme at all. Its a slasher flick then up and decides to be something else. It made no sense at all.
