Shows up in a thread for a movie he’s never seen and continues to do little more than theorize about the secret motivations of the OP. Go pester someone in the General Hospital threads. Surely someone isn’t waving a BLM banner in there.

Hey, as far as I'm concerned, there's nothing wrong with joining a thread for a show or series that one hasn't seen yet, as long as one is talking about the issues discussed in the thread.

Mind-boggling this even needed to be said, but here we are.
If we each got a nickel for every time we read someone writing "I haven't seen the movie, but...", we'd all be rich. I've engaged plenty of those with people, and, when it's relevant, I've said "you ought to see it then circle back". Simple.
Movies are often statements that speak to broader issues, and speaking to those issues, in the context of the movie or beyond, is a thing.
Of course, I know it'd make more sense for me to see the movie - and I already owned that. If, after seeing it, my view changes, y'all know I'll own that, too. Going on record before the fact demonstrates my willingness to be checked, to be misguided, or to confirm my hypothesis (!). We shall see.

Of course, you’re always taking a chance by joining a discussion without having seen whatever it is that’s under discussion.
However, one can still add to the discussion, since no one knows everything.
