Snyder's gets that high a rating, brat?

I'm not sure why I liked the 2021 version better(maybe because it was a bit darker, not so cartoonish?). Although I have only seen them once, if I saw them again I might change my rating? As a rule, I'm not a fan of superhero movies, except Blade, the original Hellboy & Hellboy II, & Aquaman (& we all know why). I watched them because I had a deal for 6 months of HBO for half price & they were there (kind of like the mountain).

I remember watching the first version and thinking it is stupid. The second version fleshed out the characters better, it has a bit more soul. The villain, Steppenwolf, gets a much better treatment; we get to know his motivations instead of yet another big bad villain trying to destroy the world for yet another time.
