It's an entire new movie pretty much. There's new footage shot only for this, a lot of new stuff written only for this. It's over double the length of this. In all it's nothing like this garbage Joss Whedon made.

Hack Snyder made a film called Justice League.
WB watched that film, declared it a piece of crap and fired Snyder.
WB hired Joss Whedon to reshoot Justice League.
Joss Whedon's Justice League was also a piece of crap but WB had no choice but to release it.
WB need subscribers for HBO Max and they're hoping that there are enough gullible DC fans who'll pay to see a 4 hour crapfest. There probably is!
