It reminded me so much of when I saw SW in 79. My grandsons who were with me loved it. The younger who's 15 made a point to tell me even though he's not a big sci-fi fan.
Seeing The Force Awakens felt like the completion of a circle. I had, I reckon, the same experience that my father had when he took me to see the first three movies when he was the age I am now. Magic.
When I showed the movie to my dad on Blu-ray he was very much surprised by how much he enjoyed it. Having considered the PT a ponderous bore by comparison to the firs movies but OK. This one was even better than Return Of The Jedi. And I agree.
