Discuss Conjuring: Die Heimsuchung

I loved seeing this in the cinema without knowing anything about it... Was so much fun to see a good old fashioned horror movie...

properly creepy and the crowd loved it... they were mostly people in their early 20s and some teens... I wonder how many had seen this kind of horror movie in the theatre before... one that doesnt rely just on gore, excessive use of jump scares or CGI

Yup, the clapping game was spine tingling. Plus being set in the 70s made it even creepier.

I'm sorry but I found this to be very clichéd and down right ridiculous towards the end.

Oddly enough I think James Wan's previous effort, Dead Silence has MUCH more of a throwback to horrors of old feeling to it then Conjuring....complete with Old Universal Studios intro in B&W. If you havent' seen it, check it out! Its on Netflix last I saw!

Thanks for tthe recommendation, I'll check it out

I checked out Dead Silence... Pretty good... Thanks for the recommendation

Sweeeeeet...glad you liked it. Definitely one of James Wan's underrated Gems! I hear the soundtrack quiet often...creepy as all he77!

A nicely done setup in the first half, but disappeared round the u-bend a bit when the paranormal investigators came in. M.R. James it ain't. 5/10 for me.
