Discuss Breaker Morant

Yes, the acting may be more suited to the theatre than to film and some of the legal aspects have been done many times before and since. But this is an outstanding examination of guerrilla warfare and the chain of command. You could have ten people watch it and get ten different takes. Does it excuse war crimes? Does it give a simplistic anti-war message?

Add in some distinct direction and deft use of misdirection and you have an utterly compelling film that remains highly relevant.
