Why did you decided not to used the stylized title "The LEGO Movie"? I'm asking because of this report.

Not sure who you’re asking or what you’re asking but the link you included goes nowhere.

The linked report is for The Lego Batman Movie with a user saying: "LEGO" has to be written with all letters uppercase.

Yeah, the link seems to work. I don't know why you couldn't access it @ottobud.

Well go figure, the link works now. I love technology.
As to the whole "LEGO/Lego" debate, the actual word is not an anagram, so putting it in capitals doesn't make sense. Also, putting it in caps because it's shown that way on-screen and in posters/advertising materials also doesn't make sense since almost every movie title would then be in all-caps. :) Other movie sites like IMDb don't put the word in caps either. However....if you go to www.lego.com, the company itself seems to always refer to their product as "LEGO®" (in all-caps). So I dunno. 🤷🏼♂️

Yes, exactly. The company uses a stylized title and the LEGO movie/TV usually use it too. Whether the word is an anagram or not should have zero impact on our decision.

I'm fine with the change back to the stylized on-screen title. In 2014 we were still mostly going by overall title usage (and it's worth noting that not only IMDb and Wikipedia, but almost all news outlets did go by general style rules when writing about the movie). Over time more and more title decisions on TMDb have been based on the on-screen title and that is OK. Closing topic.
