Discuss Labor Day

For whatever reason i had never got round to seeing this until now... oh man what a beautiful film... totally absorbing and gripping and beautiful...

Wonderfully cast too... I would be amazed if any woman was able to watch Josh Brolin in this and not swoon...

And usually the "younger" versions of characters very rarely match up... but Tom Lipinski was perfect and believable as a young Brolin

I'm surprised this film didn't get more press... It's very good and is one of the few recent portrayals of masculinity in a positive and interesting way... the opposite of the hipster or the mma "bro" types featured in pop culture today.

great casting for the young brolin

I didn't think I'd like it at first but got more engaged as it went on. Brolin has really been killing it over the last few years in his various roles. Great chemistry between him & Winslet.

Yep great movie. Very believable how Kate's character fell for him. Every time I see this movie I want a peach pie. LOL
