This was really hilarious and interesting. It becomes clear early on that it isn't a gentle documentary, more of a heavy handed attack on the ridiculousness of religion. But that's ok, because it is about time some things were said, and this film says it all and more! And it does it with some fairness, and with a lot of humour. It is also well done, it starts with Christianity but it also takes as many punches at Judaism, Islam, and even manages to get a few kicks in against Mormonism and Scientlology. In some ways it feels like a road movie too, Bill travels around the US at first but then to Vatican State and then the UK, Amsterdam, and all over the place. And he doesn't just focus on the obvious targets, he talks to priests and rabbis but also rappers and hippies and all kinds of people. It is quite thorough.
