Overview

평화롭던 브래디 가족의 엄마 캐롤에게 어느 날 옛 남편 로이가 찾아온다. 그런데 캐롤이 다시 나타난 로이를 전혀 알아볼 수 없어 그를 의심하자, 로이는 얼굴은 코끼리가 밟고 지나가 바뀌었고, 목소리는 사랑하는 사람과 떨어져 너무 슬픈 나머지 변해 버렸다는 말로 애써 둘러댄다. 하지만 사실 그는 옛 남편 로이가 아니라 브래디 집안에 있는 17세기 태국 왕조의 말조각상을 훔치러 온 사기꾼이었다. 가짜 로이는 캐롤을 설득해 같이 살게 되지만 상황에 맞지 않는 가짜 로이의 말과 행동에 브래디 가족은 당혹스러워하면서 약간의 의흑을 느낀다. 그러던 어느 날, 가짜 로이는 경매장에서 말조각상을 훔친 후 캐롤을 인질로 잡아 하와이로 떠나 버린다. 브래디 가족은 엄마 캐롤을 구하기 위해 하와이로 향하고, 말조각상을 대부호에게 팔려는 가짜 로이에게서 캐롤은 빠져나오기 위해 안간힘을 쓰는데...
