Discuss Spring Breakers

It wasn't that bad... a bit sentimental with the Alien character and a bit repetitive in terms of dialogue and editing, but it still works as a movie, even though you could tell it needed a bit more money and time...

Worth checking out for the absurdity alone

Yeah, that helps!

Not a great film, but not terrible, either. I think James Franco's character "Alien" was the most interesting character in the film. Loved his tricked-out Trans-Am with the dollar-sign hubcaps (I once owned a gray Firebird Formula-- with a V-8 350-inch engine --man, that was a fun car, but it sure looked nothing like Alien's!).

!!!SPOILERS!!!

Of course, the two young ladies at the end blasting 1,000 rounds of ammunition from their automatic weapons without once reloading-- not to mention the fact that there was absolutely nowhere in their extremely limited (ahem) " clothing" where they could carry extra magazines --was extremely unrealistic, but I don't think we as the audience were supposed to take that scene too seriously.
