is this another bad video game movie?

I heard people were saying that this looked good enough to be the best video game movie, but to me it looked boring. the rating seems to show that this movie was a bust.
but is it a good movie compared to most video game movies

No way, it's not even the best video game movie from 2016. I'm a fan of the Assassin's Creed games (before Ubisoft milked the franchise to death), but this movie is not that good, at best it's passable, but to me it felt boring and with no character.

I'm OK with it. I wouldn't say it was the best movie by far and the epiphany scene took far too damn long. But all that aside, it was still way more entertaining than some other movies out there and the storyline wasn't all that bad. I'd give it a 7/10, personally. At least it wasn't as boring as Sucker Punch.

I can't think of many video game films that are better. It's on par with War Craft and Silent Hill. It's definitely better than all of those Resident Evil movies.

What was wrong with the Resident Evil flicks? You weren't expecting a plot so thick you could carve it with a chainsaw, were you?
