As a kid I enjoyed this movie possibly even more than the other two Sinbad movies. However as an adult I've looked into the plots a lot more critically and have to admit they all get a bit convoluted when you start to ask questions, like:
7TH VOYAGE: Why did Sokura not take the lamp with him after the Roc attack? He was only chasing after it practically the whole movie and even killed Harufa over it in the scene just prior to it.
GOLDEN VOYAGE: Where did that Griffin come from? Have those two beasts shared the same cave all those years and never fought each other before?
EYE OF THE TIGER: Oh god, so many problems. So Zenobia's plan is to follow Sinbad to the lost continent and beat him to the pyramid (which she does as she finds another passageway)... but rather than use her Minoton to attack outside the pyramid where Sinbad would have been most vulnerable, she wastes it in creating an entrance (the same one Sinbad and co. use to enter anyway!) and rather than wait by the entrance around some corner, etc. she... stands atop a staircase and gloats at Sinbad, and then sics her pathetic son armed with a sword to attack 4 able-bodied men, a baboon, and a troglodyte all on his own. Now, if there had been a previous scene establishing Rafi as some kind of master badass swordsman, this may have made sense, but instead, he's dispatched of very easily. THEN she gets sad and uses her magic to inhabit the tiger and attack. Um, why not do that prior to the son getting killed? Why not just sabotage the chains on the hoist so the baboon couldn't get lifted up into the magic aurora? Such stupidity...
