Discuss Hatchet

Watched the Unrated cut the other night with my teens, still holds up well! The right amount of horror, gore & comedy!

Didn't care for the sequels...haven't even seen the 4th "Victor Crowley"...is it any good?

Victor Crowley was ok... It passed by quickly and was nice and gory with some funny bits... it just felt less of a proper film than Hatchet... I should say I haven't seen the other sequels so can't compare, but anyway, most of the action takes place in a downed aeroplane and is the killer trying to get at the passengers... Not too much story to detract from the violence!

Thanks bluersun, wish Adam Green could capture the magic of the original again...I'll make an attempt to catch it, but won't bend over backwards to do so.

No worries, it's worth an hour and a half of your time if you liked the first one, but that's about all..!

Just re-watched this for the first time in years and I'd forgotten how funny this is, some real laugh out loud moments!

The gore is still glorious and that's why practical FX will always be better than CGI.

Great cast playing characters you actually don't want to die... But enjoy seeing dismembered 😈

8/10

Victor Crowley was pretty awful IMO, the only point of interest for me was a cameo at the end setting up a sequel that wil probably never happen.
