Discuss Dog Soldiers

As werewolf films go, I would put this on the same level as An American Werewolf in London. Surprisingly entertaining.

I'd put it with the sequel. London is a horror movie first and foremost while Paris is almost slapstick. Dog Soldiers has the quality of American Werewolf in London but with the daftness of American Werewolf in Paris.

A good solid action/ horror /comedy, but in no way in the same league as AAWIL... I always thought of it as a remake of Night of the living dead with werewolves...

I enjoy them both equally as well. Can't believe I picked this up in a $5 bin. Love it.

If you liked this check out The Descent (2005). Same director.

Extremely enjoyed The Descent as well. Didn't have the comic relief Dog Soldiers had but loved the realism vibe as I could feel what they felt if I imagined myself in those situations!
