I think so. I'm surprised I actually made it through to the end.

I don't know about worst, but I was always a bigger fan of the movies John Hughes wrote than directed.

I'm guessing She's Having a Baby. But I haven't seen it, so...

There is no worst John Hughes film. Only the least good one. I'd say Curly Sue.

At least it inspired a very good TV show. The movie, however, is a freewheeling mess and I wasn't the least bit surprised to learn that Hughes churned out the script in one weekend. Nevertheless, it's a fun movie that is very much a product of its time for better for worse. I just happen to like 80's cheese. I also think the cast was great.

Definitely not the worst. Hard to believe that John Hughes could ever make a bad film. However she's having a/my baby was lame.

How dare you sir! In 1985, it was a riot! Hasn't aged well, but still...

I saw it in the theater and was the target demo at 15 years old, so I'll always have a major soft spot for it but its not an easy watch these days. But the Chet scenes with Paxton are still gold.

I definitely agree with you about that. Bill Paxton played an incomparable jerk, Anthony Michael Hall brought it with his imitation black dude, and the chick who played Lisa was just stunning in the film.

I'm sure many 15 year olds had major not so soft spots for this particular film back in those more innocent pre-Internet days 😉

I think it needed a rewrite or two. But it was fun.

I preferred the TV show adaptation.
