I prefer part 2 to this, but give both an 8/10 as fun '80s vampire flicks.

This movie was genuinely scary to me, if I recall correctly. The vampire vfx were very creepy indeed.

i had no clue about a documentary. Thanks for posting the link. I loved the Return of the living Dead doc which is one of my fave movies.

Best movie ever! Loved it since I was a kid. The "Oh, You're So Cool, Brewster" doc was so amazing too! Got the chance to meet the Chris Sarandon, William Ragsdale, Amanda Bearse and Stephen Geofferys only a few months ago at a con. My sister and I were floored! They were all so nice to us and genuinely decent people. Such a great cast! and a brilliant movie :)
