Action fan and prank king Max has a tough time. He attends the most boring school in the world, has trouble following all the rules and, on top of everything else, has the nerdy Frieda as a seatmate. His vibrant, bubbly nature is a thorn in the headmaster’s side – he wants to ensure law and order and numerous bans. It is exactly at the right moment that the inspector of the Boredom Control Authority shows up and an exciting and unforgettable class trip begins!

Schnarchalarm an der Schule? Kein Problem für Rasputin Rumpus, Inspektor der Behörde für Langeweilebekämpfung. Wo er auftaucht, wird jeder Schulalltag ein Erlebnis! Zum Glück für Maxe, Schüler an der wohl langweiligsten Schule der Welt. Als sein Direktor plant, mit einem „Regelwerk der Verbote“ auch noch die Macht über alle anderen Schulen an sich zu reißen, und dafür den Störenfried Maxe mitsamt der ganzen Klasse unter den Argusaugen ihrer Lehrerin Frau Penne auf einen Ausflug in die Pampa schickt, kommt Rumpus‘ Hilfe wie gerufen. Dank des geheimnisvollen Inspektors wird die Klassenfahrt plötzlich zum großen Abenteuer. Doch den Kindern bleibt nicht viel Zeit, um den wahnwitzigen Plan ihres Schulleiters zu verhindern.
