Discuss จักรพรรดิกลายพันธุ์ อัศจรรย์พันธุ์ต๊อง

There's a deleted scene on the DVD where Kuzco's soldiers do a mock destruction of Pacha's village in preparation of the real thing. It appears to have been shot on washed-out filmstock, complete with a "cigarette burn" in the upper-right corner. From what I understand, Disney had been doing animation cleanup and coloring digitally for almost a decade at that point (since "Aladdin," I believe), and there seems to be no reason for this scene to have been shot and archived only on physical film. Even if it wasn't used in the final release, wouldn't it have been saved on a hard drive somewhere? This isn't a complaint by any measure -- I'm simply confused, and also a bit fascinated by why this would have happened. Does anyone have any insight?
