Wow, I remember wondering if this would happen- and wow, it actually is now- the film is highly enjoyable :)

I was wondering if it would happen. It is one of the highest grossing films from Universal Studios, Inc. Also, it is the highest grossing film in Meryl Streep's career.
I would not call it a cash-grab, since Phyllida, Judy and Catherine are all working on it. Very rarely does a sequel have the original filmmaking team, heck Catherine Johnson even conceived the story. So I honestly think this will be a good sequel and worthy successor to the original film.
