Overview

海面下１万ｍの秘密基地「ディープスター６」では、ミサイル発射台の建設計画が進められていた。そんなある日、建設予定地の近くに巨大な洞窟が見つかる。海洋生物学者のスカーペリは調査を訴えるが、工期の遅れを心配するヴァン・ゲルダー博士は洞窟の爆破を命令。作業にあたる隊員が洞窟に向かったところ、謎の生物に襲撃される。
