The Baseball gangsters were perhaps the silliest. Yet, at the same time, I enjoyed their shtick.

The Furies were scary to me. But I played the video game before seeing the movie.

They weren't aiming for realism. The movie was stylized. It worked. It wormed its way into long term popular culture.

I liked the gang based on Kiss.

When this movie was initially released, it was the norm to have police stationed in the theaters due to the violence it instigated in theaters. I suppose if a modern version of it included BLM and ANTIFA costumed gang members, the same precautions would be taken and we'd also be laughing at that garb 40 years from now.
