And worth 45 minutes trip when not drunk/high? It looked dry in the film like no sauce.
Just re-watched it and wow they all look so young esp NPH! Glad this film worked out for him like last I saw him before this was Doogie Howser! And yay for saving the film by paying for the burgers lol

I think it's real crap. I actually had some when I was younger...UGH. The scene(s) of the guys putting the "burgers" into their/each others' mouths like some delicacy really made me laugh.

It's odd. I've heard some people say great things about White Castle. But, I live in Florida; I've never seen a White Castle!
I assume Satch is right. If it's so good, why isn't it in all 50 states?

I'm sure the screenwriter(s) was/were deriving some humor and creativity from the idea that the two guys go out looking for White Castle...not the greatest food. The burgers are dry.

Don't they sell frozen White Castle sliders in the supermarket? I can't imagine they're any good.
What about their fries? Nothing special?

So it's not like In-n-Out? We had a pop up store for 1 day and really long queue, people were crazy about it to wait more than 30 mins.
Is the hotdog place the other 2 guys went to real?

Their was nothing great about those little burgers (they tasted the same as McDonald's regular burgers IMO), but they weren't all out HORRIBLE either. I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and White Castle was that "after party" food...long night of clubbing and drinking or similar...they were one of the few places open really late in the outer boroughs.
