Yeah, this is a really great film. Love the atmosphere.
If you're ever curious about what happened to the missing girls, the mystery is revealed in the final chapter of the novel (which was posthumously published as "The Secret of Hanging Rock").
Together with the 1971 movie "Walkabout" it belongs to my list of Australian dramas that I'll have to rewatch. I read that there will be miniseries of the novel "Picnic at Hanging Rock". Is it a remake of the movie or a new interpretation of the story?

Wow, kind of a frightening film. I saw that the girls felt uncomfortable in one of the outdoor locations they shot at. It's understandable. Just a really weird, disorienting film.
