Lantzn, it appears I'm one year your junior! I was crazy about this film when it was new in the theatres. And, yep: I was known to disco some, back in the day! I went on a tour of England and France back in early 1977, and though still 16 at the time, went multiple times to some popular London and Paris discos and had a terrific time!

Wow what memories! Did you end up transitioning into the techno-pop era of the early 80s. Man that was some of the best club music ever. My kids born 83 and 86 still play a lot of my music from the 70s, 80s and 90s they grew up listening to. I had a ton of music.

I stuck with disco until it eventually faded away, then became really huge on '80s New Wave (which I'm still crazy about, actually). Ditto Techno-Pop and Euro-Pop. Irresistible beats!

I was 3 in '77 and remember dancing on a stage at a holiday camp to I Will Survive... Does that count?

You win as the youngest disco dancer I've ever heard of. Oh and kudos for Gloria Gaynor. 👍🏼

During the '80s, I was big on like Eurythmics, Duran Duran, The Thompson Twins, Pet Shop Boys, Blancmange, etc.

Cheers - although I may have just been jumping on the spot in my over sized flairs...!

We called them bell bottoms in our area. Your mind saw a perfect dance at the time, the audience saw someone with no fear.
