I don't make great study of the money side of evaluating movie "success", but insofar as money-making is part of it for a lot of people on the supply side of the movie industry, $320M in revenue on $14M budget (>20x) is good business.
So, where does this ROI rank all-time?

Well, I made study of movie ROI, having built a movie ROI database with >2400 titles from 1926 to present. Of these, 130 movies - including Fatal Attraction - paid $22 or better, which is just 5.2% of the total number of titles.
That's pretty good, all-time.
