Through a pictoric play, this movie tells the story about the painter Eduardo Miranda who, one night, while he was lokking to a gipsy group that was dancing, discovers a beautifull girl called Carmen. Dazzled by her beauty he decides to paint a picture. This causes roumours in the neighborhood, and it also arouses the jealousy of his wife.

A través de una obra pictórica nos narran la historia del pintor Eduardo Miranda que, una noche, mientras observa a un grupo de gitanos bailando, descubre a una bella muchacha granadina llamada Carmen. Deslumbrado por su belleza le propone pintarla en un cuadro. Esto provoca que la gente murmure por el barrio y, a la vez, despierta los celos de su mujer.
