By the way, as the annual Oscars "In Memoriam" reel inevitably includes some agents, executives, and other Hollywood business types who probably absolutely none of us have ever heard of, yet pretty much seemingly everyone has seen CftBL and at least generally remembers what Julie Adams looked like in her swimming-with-Gill-Man famous movie scenes, it's hard to understand how the Oscar powers-that-be couldn't have taken the 7-10 or so seconds to include a brief moment showing her in that film.

Viewers like to see actors/actresses and film clips, in the In Memoriam reel, who they actually recognize and can readily recall.

PS: I missed (other than the first 30 or so minutes) Sunday night's Oscar broadcast, so now am wondering who all was included in the In Memoriam reel and who got left out.

Wow: I can see them leaving Stanley Donen out, as he died only a day or two before Oscars Sunday (hopefully he'll be included in next year's In Memoriam), though leaving out people as recognizable as Carol Channing, Sondra Locke, and Verne Troyer is inexplicable and just plain wrong.
