Do you think those on carousel eventually get incinerated with the continued zaps or do the bodies just get lowered after being zapped over and over and then maybe a big crop dusting of what those crop dusting guys sprayed on the dead runner envelops the dead bodies?

My feeling, Mrs.peacock, was that the bodies were simply incinerated in mid-air. Otherwise, over the decades (?) that the city was in operation, it would seem that the myth of Carousel would no longer hold for the populace, if pieces of the bodies were simply falling to the ground with each ceremony, with the "street-sweeper" guys coming in to clean it up every time, in full view of everyone.
It wouldn't take long for the spectators to do a little "back-of-the-envelope" math and figure out that no one, in fact, was being Renewed.
Just my opinion:)
