Yeah that's it. I think she mentions in the movie that her original name was supposed to be Dawn but her parents switched it up for some reason. It's been a while since I've seen it myself so maybe someone else can confirm that. I will say however that Jessica was an absolute beauty in this, probably my favorite of the Kong films.

I haven't seen the new Kong film but the 1976 version is my favorite so far. The music score is beautiful. Jessica Lange and Jeff Bridges are gorgeous too!

I haven't seen this movie since I was a child and I saw it in a theater, but the name Dwan is the one (and only) thing I remember about it.

I liked the part when she told the crew (as she was waking up) that she owed her life to Deep Throat --- she wouldn't watch a dirty movie and was up on deck when the explosion occurred!
