Halloween III is definitely a victim of its title and numbering...it SHOULD'VE gone simply by 'Season of the Witch' or at least Halloween: Season of the Witch (no 'III'). Its got a bad rap due to being included in the Halloween series and lack of Michael Myers!
Imagine how the series would've turned out had Carpenter had his way? It was set to be an anthology series & Season of the Witch was supposed to be Halloween II...but studio pressure wanted the Michael Myers story "concluded"...and we all see what THAT turned into.
