"Susan (Mara Wilson) is told by her mother Dorey Walker (Elizabeth Perkins) that Santa Claus is not real."
"After she meets Kris Kringle (Richard Attenborough), who works at Cole's Department Store as Santa, and sees him talking sign language with a young girl, she starts to doubt what her mother told her."
"Do I have to not believe in Santa Claus right away?"
"You have the right to believe whatever you want to believe. Now, I've told you the truth, but if I'm wrong, I will be glad to admit it."
"I'll tell you what. You ask Mr. Kringle for something that you would never ask me for, and if on christmas morning you don't get it, you will know once and for all the honest truth about Santa Claus."
"So, who does she believe, the myth or... the mom?"

I enjoyed this remake of "Miracle on 34th Street (1947)" and love to watch both during the holidays.
