I'm curious what crime Uncle Joey committed since they never say.

For some reason, I always picture Joe Pesci when Uncle Joey is mentioned.

He would've been cool to add him if they had shown Joey as an adult

I've always wondered if Uncle Joey was still a criminal in the new version of 1985.

No. They never said why he was in jail. But when Marty went back and was told by his grandmother that Joey likes the playpen and cries whenever they take him out, so they leave him in, that's when it registers to him and the audience that he likes being behind bars.

I always picture him to be THIS type of guy right here. But can def see a Joe Pesci type..Joe Pesci in HOME ALONE, not Joe Pesci from Goodfellas (BIG difference...lolol).
