Discuss Run Lola Run

What do you think? Personally, I think the movie is like a videogame and Lola tried until she got it right. So all the endings technically happened and are true.

I think it's more like in parallel universe theory. All are real, all happened.

What's really cool is you can see it either way. Either it presents 3 consecutive attempts for her to get it right, or it's 3 parallel universes where each happened.

Reminds me a lot of Kurosawa's "Rashomon" except that Rashomon presents 3 alternate perceptions and the point is (or seems to be) that all 3 of them are lies.

I see RLR as 3 consecutive attempts, almost like reincarnations, because in each subsequent one she "remembers" a little bit from the last one. Like remembering to flip the safety on the gun. Stuff like that. Course it could also mean that 3 parallel universes are somehow intertwined and communicating with each other on some level. idk. I'm sure we're supposed to wonder all these things.

Pretty cool flick!

Indeed it is. I remember loving this film back in the 90s. 90s had some good movies.
