Set to a rather haunting soundtrack, I couldn't quite decide whether this engaging animation was about death, or reincarnation, or loneliness - indeed there are precious few parameters to put meat on it's bones so I though I'd just enjoy it for whet it is. That's a pleasing story that sees a butterfly travel to the home of a young girl only for it to leave and for us to wonder if she is real or a spirit (or both). It's a delicate piece of work this, and despite the fact that the story isn't obvious, that proves not to really matter.
