As an animal loving teenager, this was a major movie for me when it came out. Yes, Sigourney gives one of her strongest performances here - and the gorilla footage is brilliant. One of Maurice Jarre's best scores, too. I need to see this again, in fact - it's been a long time.

Can't argue with that. Sigi showed an amazing acting and deserved the Oscar
