September 2, 1972

It is a moment unlike any other in time. From coast to coast, Canada is united by the game we call our own. The outcome of this historic "Summit Series" is decided in the final minute of the final game. After playing the Soviets in the Forum, Maple Leaf Gardens, Winnipeg and Vancouver, Team Canada leaves for Moscow with only one victory on home ice. Behind the Iron Curtain, they lose the first of the remaining four at the Luzhniki Ice Palace. What follows, is the most dramatic hockey series ever played.

The Tournament was a Canadian television series, which aired on CBC Television in 2005 and 2006. The series, a mockumentary show about a community minor hockey team, depicted the behind-the-scenes interactions between the players, their parents and coaches as the team competed for a spot in the annual youth hockey championship tournament.

The cast included Alain Goulem, Paula Boudreau, Christian Potenza, Emily Tilson and Ari Cohen.

Seven episodes were produced in the 2004-05 television season, airing in the winter of 2005, and ten episodes were produced in the 2005-06 season. The CBC announced on February 13, 2006, that the show would not be brought back for the 2006-07 television season.

Kraft Hockeyville is an annual competition developed by CBC Sports and sponsored by Kraft Foods, the NHL and the NHL Players' Association in which communities across Canada compete to demonstrate their commitment to the sport of ice hockey.

The competition was first held in 2006 as a reality television series aired by CBC Television, but since 2007, it was relegated to segments aired during CBC's Saturday night NHL coverage, Hockey Night in Canada.

Hockey: A People's History is a television documentary series from the CBC's Documentary Unit. It premiered on September 17, 2006. It aired on Sunday nights, in two-episode blocks, on CBC Television; repeats were made later in the week on CBC Newsworld.

Much like previous series Canada: A People's History, the series told the history of the sport of ice hockey from a personal perspective, giving voice to various individuals, major and minor, as the sport grows and evolves in Canada. The series ran for 10 hours in total, and was shot in HD. Episode narration was by actor Paul Gross.

Rent-a-Goalie is a half-hour comedy television series from Canada that aired on Showcase from 2006 - 2008. Its third season premiered 20 October 2008. The first season was nominated for three Gemini Awards, including Best Comedy Series. It was also nominated for a Directors Guild of Canada Award, the CFTPA Indie Award for Best Comedy Series, an ACTRA Award for Best Male Performance for Christopher Bolton, and four Canadian Comedy Awards, winning two. The second season was nominated for six Gemini Awards, including Best Comedy Series, Best Ensemble Performance, Best Directing, Best Writing, Best Cinematography and Best Casting. It has also been nominated for three Canadian Comedy Awards.

François, Ti-Guy et Boisvert ne sont plus dans le décor, mais Méo est maintenant propriétaire d'un salon funéraire, Léopold est toujours le propriétaire de la brasserie de son genre et quelques nouveaux personnages se joignent à la distribution, dont Lamothe la garnotte, joué par Patrice Robitaille.

30 for 30 is the umbrella title for a series of documentary films airing on ESPN and its sister networks and online properties. The series, which highlights people and events in the sports world that have generally received small amounts of attention, has featured two "volumes" of 30 episodes each, a 13-episode series under the ESPN Films Presents title in 2011-2012, and a series of 30 for 30 Shorts shown through the ESPN.com website.
