Lors de sa tentative de capture, il blesse mortellement un épaulard femelle qui était sur le point de mettre bas. Dès lors, le mâle, furieux, prend en chasse le bateau du capitaine. Il le poursuivra jusqu'à ce qu'il obtienne sa vengeance.
