天候を意のままにできる宇宙ステーションが開発された近未来、地球は未曾有の自然災害に襲われることがなくなる。ところが運用開始から2年後、宇宙ステーションがウイルス感染して暴走し各地で異常気象を引き起こしてしまう。巨大災害が同時多発的に起きる地球壊滅災害“ジオストーム”の発生を防ぐため、宇宙ステーションの開発者ジェイクと彼の弟マックスが立ち上がる。
