When you think of snowboarding, you think of perfect weather, perfect snow conditions, nice pow pow lines, backcountry kickers, just you and your buddies out there in the woods, or maybe a perfect shaped park and pipe. But reality sometimes teaches us something different- totally overcrowded resorts, the best lines are already taken by others, the 'secret spot’ was also hit by someone else, and the waitress in the bar just dated your best friend. No wonder that you get a little 'snowbored’ once in a while. But Snowbored? is anything else than boring! This movie, brought to you by the guys from mellow mood productions out of switzerland, is about to show you that all the waiting for the perfect day is worth it. Riders like Markus Keller, Gian Simmen, Danny Kass, Stephan Maurer, Jon Cartwright and others will show their skills in every terrain you could imagine and will make you long for the next season to come!

Much anticipated, the Volcom 9191 film or better known as, "The Gigi Movie" features the creative genius of filmmaker Jake Price and an amazing group of riders including Bryan Iguchi, Terje Haakonsen, Mark Landvik, Curtis Ciszek, Blair Habenicht, Wille Yli Luoma, Luke Mitrani, Wolle Nyvelt, Jake Blauvelt, Nicolas Muller, and obviously Gigi Ruf who take you from New Zealand to Chile to Jackson Hole and more. Ambitious and slightly off-beat, 9191 mashes stop-motion animations with out-of-this-world footage and combines it with a haunting soundtrack by Baron, famed for his work on Flip's Extremely Sorry film. If you're looking for a snowboard flick with more meat than potatoes, you've got your hands full with 9191.

Who can not be present at one of the premieres waits just the Playboard from Issue in January. Then the strip gibts as free snow treats them.

Southern Ontario’s favourite sons The Pocket Figures bring us Beyond Compare. A movie about the struggles of filming in the front country of Canada.

For three years, Jérôme Tanon attached a $250 Sony video camera to his main SLR using a pole and some gaffer tape. As he followed some of the world’s best riders around the world, this little camcorder was continuously rolling, filling up card after card with every journey, every takeoff, every landing, every slam, every kicker-build, every angry outburst, every shared joke, every bit of goofballing, every nature poo, every game of UNO (and there were many games of UNO), every booze-filled night; the list goes on. Tanon condenses this formidable mountain of candid footage into a warts-and-all exposé of professional snowboarding that is in turns brutal, cynical and hilarious. But above all, it is honest.

Voice is a technical snowboarding film with a personality; a showcase of the year in snowboarding. See riders throwing down and hear them talk about what happened while filming. Plus we put $20,000 on the line to see who would step up. Only 3 will pocket the cash.

Think Thank goes straight to the dome with Right Brain Left Brain. Meticulously messy, precisely unpredictable and controlled chaos; snowboarding is everything and can do anything. Creative control concisely conjured for cuticle carousing co-opting corrosive comatose inducing creatures. Thanks again brain!
