Blíží se Vánoce a nákupní centra se tak hemží Mikuláši. Mezi nimi je i dvojce podvodníků, kteří s chutí znesvěcují krásné poselstvo toho známého dobráka s bílou bradkou v červeném plášti - převlečeni za Mikuláše a elfa vyloupí každý obchod, do kterého proniknou. Jejich strategie se ale zkomplikuje, když se střetnou s 8-letým chlapcem, který jim začne vysvětlovat pravý význam Vánoc.
