The Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber is a Hong Kong television series adapted from Louis Cha's novel of the same title. The series was first broadcast on TVB Jade in Hong Kong in 2000.
《天龍八部》（英語：The Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils 1997）是香港電視廣播有限公司根據金庸所著的武俠小說《天龍八部》改編而拍攝製作的古裝武俠劇集，全劇共45集，監製李添勝，此劇為無綫電視拍攝製作第二部同名劇集。是由黃日華、陳浩民、樊少皇及李若彤領銜主演。雖然97版天龍八部當年在香港反響一般，但該劇引進內地後，在內地掀起收視熱潮。多年後，更被香港人認為此劇為唯一一部無線在90年代金庸小說能夠勝過80年代首次翻拍的版本。該劇在2006年9月4日於無線電視翡翠台重播。
《天龍八部之六脈神劍、虛竹傳奇》是由香港無線電視臺出品的武俠題材電視劇，由蕭笙執導，梁家仁、湯鎮業、黃日華、陳玉蓮、黃杏秀、石修、陳復生等參加演出。改編自金庸先生的同名小說。
全劇采用中篇形式將長篇劇分期出集，分為兩部分：上集是《六脈神劍》，下集是《虛竹傳奇》。
該劇講述了虛竹和尚、段正淳之子段譽和喬峰是三個年紀相若，意氣相投的結拜兄弟，與慕容博、慕容復父子的顛覆陰謀，交織出意想不到的人生際遇和明爭暗鬥的故事。
大理王子段譽（湯鎮業飾）。性擅習文而惡習武，偏偏無意間學會幾種上乘武功，包括凌波微步及六脈神劍等。他先後愛上幾個少女，但發覺全部是父親段正淳（謝賢飾）的私生女。段譽巧遇丐幫幫主喬峰（梁家仁飾），並結拜為兄弟。
丐幫幫主喬峰為人正氣凜然，後來知道自己是遼人，痛苦萬分；又被誣為殺師弒父母的大罪人，頓覺天下之大無處容身。幸得知己阿朱（黃杏秀飾）相伴，但好景不長，頓覺萬念俱灰，而喬峰又誤會段正淳，阿朱卻假扮段正淳，硬接喬峰一掌死去。喬峰傷痛欲絕，攜同阿朱的胞妹阿紫（陳復生飾）遠赴塞外，遇上契丹皇帝並助他平定叛亂。
少林和尚虛竹（黃日華飾）下山，因緣際會學到絕世神功，做了逍遙派掌門和靈鷲宮主人，稍後又做了西夏駙馬。
喬峰、虛竹和段譽是三個年紀相若，意氣相投的結拜兄弟，而慕容博（關海山飾）與其子慕容復（石修飾）的顛覆陰謀，交織在一起。段譽委承其父的俊朗神采，甚得少女的垂青，與木婉清（楊盼盼飾）、鐘靈（黃杏秀飾）及王語嫣（陳玉蓮飾）的一段戀情，難解難分。
Wai Siu Bo is the son of a prostitute who works in a brothel in Yangzhou. After joining the Heaven and Earth society, he heads to the Capital and gets enrolled into the service of the Grand Eunuchs. There he becomes friends with the young emperor Hong Hei (Wai mistakes the emperor as another young eunuch) and falls in love with the emperor's younger sister, Princess Kin Ning. His adventures in the Forbidden City leads him into discovering the empress dowager as an impostor; finding several volumes of the prized 42 Chapters which contains the location of a treasure cave; helps the emperor kill the baddie courtier, Lord Obai; and see his position rise from humble eunuch to a grand courtier and confidante of the emperor.
