Vuonna 1979 kuuden hengen kuvausryhmä lähtee ajamaan Teksasin osavaltion läpi kuvaten vallankumouksellista ja ”mestarillista” aikuisviihde-elokuvaansa. Työn ailahteleva kannattavuus on koetellut ryhmää jo jonkun aikaa, mutta ohjaajan palava intohimo on saanut koko ryhmän uskomaan parempaan tulevaan. He saapuvat syrjäiselle tontille, jossa vanha pariskunta ottaa heidät vastaan. Ryhmän tuottaja onnistuu neuvottelemaan omistajan kanssa vierailunsa hinnasta ja päättää jättää kertomatta heidän puuhistaan.
