该片讲述了道士们争夺传闻中神剑的高丽末期和外星人出没的2022年之间的时光之门被打开后，引发的异想天开的故事。

为了阻止被关在人类体内的外星人囚犯逃狱，被困在过去的以安（金泰梨 饰）历经波折后，终于获得能打开时间之门的“神剑”，并找到森德（金宇彬 饰），打算回到自己所离开的未来。

本片将描绘被称为日本史上最大谜团的“本能寺之变”前一日，追踪这一谜团的历史悬疑电影。故事从现代的京都开始，正处于即将结婚的人生岔路上的茧子（绫濑遥 饰）住进了一家本能寺酒店，这是一家能够与战国时代相连的不可思的酒店，茧子在这里遇见了即将统一天下的织田信长。
