Since its premiere in Vienna in 1992, the musical "Elisabeth" has been performed all over the world. In Japan, "Elisabeth" was first performed by the Takarazuka Snow troupe in 1996, prior to the first performances in other countries. A total of 10 versions of the musical have been performed by different troupes, making it one of Takarazuka Revue's most popular musicals. The "Elisabeth TAKARAZUKA 25th Anniversary Special Gala Concert" was held in 2021 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Snow troupe's first performance.

Set in 1920s Paris, this psychological romance follows the intersecting lives of four people: Claude, a young nobleman who does not lose his sense of self despite having experienced the horrors of war; Sharon, an otherworldly woman whom Claude begins to fall for; Francoise, a girl yearning for Claude herself; and Louis, a gigolo who is also enamored with Sharon. The drama's undulations are expressed early on in the prologue to tango music which was en vogue at the time. After its debut in 1984 with Takashio Tomoe and Wakaba Hiromi, this exquisite drama was repeatedly restaged. This time, it will be revived as the debut performance for the new Top Combi of Snow Troupe, Nozomi Fuuto and Maaya Kiho.

Eitoku Academy is a high school that caters to rich, high-society families. Among the students who attend there are four young men who have the adulation of the entire school, the "Flower 4" (F4). There is spoiled Doumyouji Tsukasa, cool and mysterious Hanazawa Rui, playboy Nishikado Soujirou, and "madam killer" Mimasaka Akira. If these four show any signs of disliking someone, a red tag is put on the locker of that student and they become a target of bullying for the entire school. Makino Tsukushi is from a middle-class family, attending because her parents asked her to. Her goal is to keep her head down until she can graduate, but her plans are soon made impossible as she is thrown into the world of the F4. Here, wearing a Divan watch too extravagant for the setting, sits one man: Al Capone. As everyone knows, he’s an American gangster. In a cell arranged especially for him, he gulps down law-prohibited bourbon, next to him sits the script for a new Hollywood screenplay that is in production. The title is “Scarface.” It is plain that that word represents Al. Before the writer of this script, Al begins to tell the lesser known “truth of Al Capone.”
