Daigo Kiryu and Utsusemimaru set out on a journey in pursuit of Uchu King Dagded who invaded Earth. However, during the battle with Dagded, Utsusemimaru is sent to Earth in another time. They arrived on Earth, which has been invaded by the Deboth Army, unable to save the universe from Dagded. In order to stop the ruined future, they head back to the original timeline, but due to the changes in the timeline, Uchu King Gira reigns over Chikyuu!

The story begins when the Lupinrangers, Kairi, Touma, and Umika, are kidnapped by someone mysterious. The Patrangers are then tasked with an Abduction Case to find the missing thieves, where they run into the Kyuranger team as they pass through space. Just who exactly kidnapped them? And why did the 12 Kyurangers return to space?

Space Sheriff Gavan vs Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger features the return of Yuma Ishigaki from 2012’s Space Sheriff Gavan: The Movie and the 2015 Space Sheriff Next Generation films. The first installment will join the two police themed heroes as they face a massive space crime organization.
