Iemand anders is het tweede deel uit een tweeluik van Micha Wertheim. Micha is een experimenteel theatermaker. In de eerste voorstelling van het tweeluik ‘ergens anders’ was Micha letterlijk ergens anders, de voorstelling werd gespeeld door een klein robotje. In ‘iemand anders’ was het idee van Micha dat de voorstelling niet door hem zelf werd gespeeld, maar letterlijk door iemand anders. Degene die dit eigenlijk zou doen ging hier echter niet mee akkoord. Uiteindelijk stond Micha zelf op het toneel en toch pleitte hij nog steeds iemand anders te zijn, zijn eigen alter ego. Micha stelt dat op het toneel je altijd iemand anders kan zijn. Dat is waar acteren volgens hem over gaat.
Micha Wertheim stelt zichzelf en zijn publiek de vraag hoe verder te leven en te overleven bij een somber toekomstperspectief. De voorstelling, die uitbundig begint en na een uur plotseling bijzonder intiem en persoonlijk wordt, werd vrijwel overal in Nederland en België onthaald met vijf sterren. Op de dag dat een cameraploeg klaar stond om de voorstelling op te nemen, werden alle theaters in Nederland gesloten. Gelukkig lag er nog een reserve-opname, voor eigen gebruik met twee camera's gemaakt in de zomer van 2019. De wereld ziet er inmiddels heel anders uit, maar de vraag hoe we ons vallend staande moeten houden is er alleen maar relevanter op geworden.
