Esordio a Hollywood dell'italiano Brambilla con un film d'avventure non privo d'ironia (quando il protagonista si sveglia, scopre che il presidente USA è Schwarzenegger), ma imperniato soprattutto sullo spettacolo acrobatico e sulla suspense delle azioni. Credibile, poco; reazionario, molto.
